This is for the guy that wants THREE times Saturation with all the TONE!

How is that possible?! I still use the TI RC4558P in this unit. It delivers the best performance overall. I use a very high quality socket with gold inserts. The connection between IC and socket can hardly be better. The drive circuit is further pushed by lowering the resistance another notch.

The response is the same but drive is 3XXX!!! All metal film resistors and metal film capacitors are used in the mod because they have less noise. I raise one of the resistors that affect the input impedance a slight bit (510k to 620k). This allows your pickups to breathe and you have less "tone-drain" when off. I also change the input transistor to a MPSA18 for lower noise operation. This pedal has the Drive Control range shifted...in comparison to a stock TS9, the drive knob goes from 4 to 14 instead of 0-10. This pedal is design to be used in a dual over drive setup (I like for people to have at least one pedal that will do a clean-ish sound, this one won't).

Trent Berry is the Master of Playing on this clip. First of all, you can feel the excitement falling off these clips. Trent exudes a positive nature that is inspiring. He regularly is called upon as a guitar-gun-for-hire flying from San Francisco to Boston to NYC to play. Trent is currently recording a solo guitar project similar to Eric Johnson or Jeff Beck kinda stuff but over jam based and turntable music; sort of like Medeski Martin and Wood with DJ Logic as the backing band for a far out guitar player. As soon as Trent has some finished mixes we will of course send you some! Yummy I say! We are proud to be working on a True-bypass prototype of the Ts9DX for him that uses the normal foot switch as a booster mode to give you that touch of power for as long as the pedal is depressed! Cool stuff!

NOTE: This Baked pedal does not clean up as much when the drive is turned down like a regular TS9, the entire Drive Range has been moved, this is an aggressive overdrive pedal and should not be thought of as a "better" pedal than our regular mod which suits 95% of customers. This is for someone wanting a over the top sound, high octane overdrive, not quite a true distortion though, and as hot as the Anna Nicole show!
